Emulsion Lifts

An emulsion lift, or emulsion transfer, is a process used to remove the photographic emulsion from a Polaroid. The emulsion is then transferred to paper where it can also become folded, ripped, or otherwise customised as desired. The result is a unique, one-of-a-kind image.  This gallery is a selection of some of my favourite emulsion lifts which I started to experiment with in early 2022.
